I have taken 10 popular artists and calculated the correlation between them, based on the vocabulary, words and the implicit topic of their lyrics.
The numbers are between -1 and 1, when 1 is complete identity between the artists lyrics, and -1 is the opposite.
As you can see, there is a total identity between an artist and himself.
Also, as can be expected, there is a very high correlation between artists like 50 Cent, 2pac and Eminem, but very low correlation between Justin Bieber and Metallica.
Interesting to see, that in the current data set, Aerosmith and Metallica have both a low correlation with every other artist, even between themselves - something that can be inferred as uniqueness.
